Parisha is a UK qualified solicitor and senior legal executive with an MBA from London Business School. Parisha has sixteen years of transactional experience and thirteen years of post qualification experience gained from financial institutions and private practice across a range of financial products and markets within an international context.
Parisha qualfied with law firm Field Fisher Waterhouse, a city based law firm. Having qualfied into the finance department, Parisha subsequently joined the legal team at Mitsubishi Corporation Finance PLC specialising a variety of finance disciplines including structured capital markets and derivatives transactions, private equity and fund management. Parisha later joined the in house legal team at EuroMTS limited – now part of the London Stock Exchange, providing legal advice to the wholesale government bond markets platofrm across Europe, as well as being Company Secretary and board legal advisor to various boards of the the company’s group of companies. Parisha was promoted to Head of Legal in 2005.
In 2007 Parisha was asked to head up the legal team at Landsbanki, a European investment bank where she was responsible for legal risk management of a range of retail and wholesale financial markets products including corporate finance, investment banking, fund/asset management and sales and trading across various asset classes. Whilst at Landsbnki, Parisha was a member of various internal executive committees and assisted setting up the bank’s strategy in the Middle East with its first office in Abu Dhabi. In October 2008, Landsbanki nationalised following the Lehmans’ bankruptcy and Parisha was mandated with the responsibility of assisting the bank through its own bankruptcy as a result. In November 2009, Parisha was appointed Associate General Counsel at Jefferies & Co, a US investment bank, with a focus on wholesale and retail sales and trading, covering equities, derivatives and fixed income as well as being responsible for legal advisory for the asset and wealth management divisions.
