Susana Leith-Smith is a Managing Director in the EMEA Leveraged Finance team at Barclays. Based in London, Susana manages the origination and structuring of sub-investment grade debt products primarily in the Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) sector. Susana also manages a vertical responsible for the Consumer & Retail, FIG and Real Estate sectors. She has worked in the team since joining the firm in 2010.
Prior to Barclays, she was at the Royal Bank of Scotland most recently as a Director in the Loan and High Yield Capital Markets team. Prior to RBS, Susana was in the Leveraged Finance team at Credit Suisse First Boston, which she joined in 1999 immediately after graduating from university.
Susana received an MA Joint Hons in International Relations and Modern History from the University of St Andrews. Susana is married and has two small children.
