Clement Marfo will be hosting and performing at the SW4 Pop Up Celebration on Friday 20th December.
Since bursting onto the scene in 2010, Clement Marfo has supported the likes of Plan B, Rizzle Kicks, The Streets and De La Soul. Clement and his band have performed to sell out crowds across the UK and racked up a huge and diverse fanbase due to his cross genre sound and electric live performances. In 2012, Clement Marfo & The Frontline were named in MTV’s Brand New for 2012, T4’s Rising Stars and went on to win “Best Group” at The Urban Music Awards later in the year.
His track “Champion” has been everywhere since it’s release in July 2012 and became the official theme song for WWE’s Royal Rumble as well as the title song for Sky Sports’s coverage of The NFL Superbowl XLVI and BBC’s coverage of the London Olympics. His previous single “Us Against The World” was picked up by EA Sports and featured on the No.1 selling computer game Fifa ’13. With a huge following watching his every move, Clement’s latest track “Last Night” was released in November last year, went on to rack up over 1.2million hits on Youtube!
Moving forward, front-man Clement Marfo is developing a Hip Hop/Funk project, expect to hear a lot more from this charismatic and energetic British artist.
